DR PGM MOLETE

Dr Molete is a Specialist Psychiatrist who runs her own private practice at Dr Molete Wellness Clinic based in Mabopane, holds office at Vista Clinic in Centurion, and practices at Legae Mediclinic in Mabopane and Butshilu Private Clinic in Soshanguve.

She practiced as a General Practitioner for 10 years, and began specializing as a private Psychiatrist from 2008.

She has held office as a Principal Part-time lecturer at Sefako Makatho University, as an examiner in the College of Medicine South Africa for the Diploma in Mental health, as an external examiner for final year Undergraduates at SMU and UKZN, and she served in the Aeromedical Committee of the South African Civil Aviation Authority in 2018.

She is currently an Associate Lecturer for fifth year students at the University of Pretoria and is an adjudicator for Aeromedical Committee – CAA.

She is affiliated with the HPCSA and the South African Society of Psychiatrists Northern region, and is a Board member in several Organizations including the Mabopane Business Forum and the Stigmatine Catholic Organization.

She specializes in individual and group therapy, the assessments, diagnosing and treating patients, Psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing, treatment for substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosis, developmental disabilities, and sexual dysfunction, prescribing and administering medications according to diagnosis, crisis intervention, and the development and assessment of treatment plans for the care and rehabilitation of patients.

She also hosts mental health awareness workshops under her subsidiary program, “The You Perspective”, and is currently working on her PHD.
